There is a lot that needs to be done to improve the overall societal health in India. We have to fight hunger, bring more awareness, promote education, plant more trees, need more blood and conserve water. But where are the hands that are going to do these tasks? We are going to do our bit with our limited resources, but are in crunch of an all important resource – the volunteers.
What is meant by being a volunteer and what are the benefits of the same?

It is quite true that by volunteering you are setting up yourself to see life with an entirely different perspective. For a while you are escaping from the web of tasks, assignments, homework, deadlines and other stuff. You are going to feel refreshed and who knows, you get in touch with more amazing people like you! Fellowship may bring additional benefits like lifelong friendships and other surprises as well.
